Groups and Rallies

We do accept Rallies and can give organised Rallies a discount which is negotiated on an individual basis. A Rally consists of 20 or more units attending and this number will be used as the basis of the price. This base price will be payable even if this number of rally attendees do not turn up. Refunds will not be given in the case of inclement weather.

We have two fields set aside for Rallies and the largest one is capable of holding up to 180 tents.

Past Rallies that we have hosted include:

  • Piratemania 2010, 2011 and 2012
  • Honda Owners Club Rally
  • Derwent Valley Triumph Sports 6 Rally
  • Derbyshire Branch of the Caravan & Camping Club
  • Crysalis Project
  • The Land Rover Series One Club
    • The Land Rover Series One Club chose to hold its big international rally at Peak Gateway Leisure Club in 2015 and members say the site's central location has led to a surge of interest in the annual event. Around 250 of the vehicles, which were built between 1948 and 1958, were at the rally, from Friday, June 26 until Sunday, June 28 with many of them heading out at various points through the weekend for runs to points of interest in the Peak District. Vehicles attending the event travelled in from as far afield as Holland and Belgium, and included former military vehicles as well as Land Rovers used by the fire service.
    • Below are links to YouTube, where one of their club members has uploaded videos of the event.
  • RBSCC March 2017

Groups of two or more caravans and/or tents are classed as a group booking and we will require a Compliance deposit of £25 per pitch. This deposit is refundable on departure subject to you observing our No Noise Policy.

We hold this deposit as a way of preventing rowdy parties. We have in the past had problems with groups that have created a lot of noise spoiling it for others around them.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

We like our campsite to be fun and family friendly and this involves discouraging noisy behaviour. We therefore ask all visitors to please consider other guests after 21.00 and we have a No Noise Policy in effect after 23.30.

This is out of consideration for all of our guests.
